I have a long family history in engineering, starting with my Granddad Phil May who started Maysmith Engineering in 1940 in Willesden, London.
My dad, Alan May, joined the family business in the late 1950s along with his brother, Ken.
My brother, Greg, joined in 1984 followed by myself in 1986.
I moved to Devon in 1995 working for local engineering toolrooms before starting CM Engineering in 2000.
My wife, Sarah, joined me in 2003 to deal with the business administration.
